Burger King, and I'll tell you why.
I've traveled a lot and I've been to both all over the world and this is what I've found. McDonald's caters to each community differently and morphs accordingly to make the most money. For instance, in Asia and all of Europe, they change their menu to make sure to please everyone. This bothers me.
Burger King on the other hand (for the most part) is take it or leave it. If you like Burger King where you live, you'll like it 4000 miles away too, because it is virtually identical. I like that, no BS. No extra special tofu this or or mini sized that. It's big, it's sloppy, it's delicious, it's uniform. Now I'm not saying I'm on of those ethnocentric meetheads that doesn't respect other cultures, but I do admire being faithful to ones roots. I would expect the same if Pans & Company or another foreign chain was introduced here.
That being said, TACO BELL IS THE BEST.

I like Burger King better than McDonald's but it's so expensive. Near where I work the Burger King has burgers for $7. Without the combo! It's so stupid.
My favorite fast food place is another place near where I work that's called "Five Guy's" They make homemade french fries and the burgers are HUGE. They were actually voted the best burger in America one year ago.

I find Burger King to be dirtier than McDonalds in most cases. Also Burger King doesn't have a dollar menu. Personally I like the fries better at McDonalds.
The only thing I ever eat at these kinds of restaurants is dollar menu items. Anything else is too expensive, and then I'd rather go to Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, Chinese, Thai, Greek, Italian etc.

Burger King all the way. I love Burger King. It might be more expensive but it is better. McDonalds fries aren't what they used to be anymore.

McDonald's. i respect the Double Cheeseburgers with a lot of ketchup. I in ordinary words pass to McDonald's about 5 or 6 situations a twelve months. At one time, I ate at McDonald's practically on a daily basis. after i ended going there, i began to achieve weight. pass figure!

It's a toss up for me. Veggies burgers and onion rings vs Chicken nuggets and fries. How can you say one is better than the other. I like both.
