My job. I started dating this guy when I was in school. His job needed help, so I would help from time to time. Before long I was a part time employee, then full time. 4 years later I was done with school, but trying to figure out what I wanted to do, and where I wanted to do it. then the owners of the business decided to retire. I loved my job, and they gave me an excellent opportunity to be my own boss! So here I am. Never expected that I would own a retail store selling and making the things that I sell and make. But indeed it is a success!

Well I would have to say my job of 23 years working in the newspaper industry...
In my first week I did tedious work and thought, "I will never stay here doing this"...
Then 23 years later and after getting many awards,
I thought, "wow I can't believe I stayed here so long"...
I was going to stay till I retired, but I had a back disability that made me stop work for surgery and I never got well after that...

My intellectual development. Many people though I was smart, but seemed awkward. Now, I get impressed by my capacity to reason and create original explanations for events.
