If a picture has the words "painted from nature by J.J. Autubon" could it be an original? And don't say take it to an appraiser please. I've taken articles to appraisers before they said "their worth between 25 and 50 dollars" We sold them on E-bay for between 500 and 900 dollars each. Within 3 to 4 weeks after they were appraised.

You asked a question and the you stated that whatever the answer is, you're going to ignore it and go straight to Ebay. So go straight to Ebay.

How could anybody answer that without looking at it? Maybe it's an original, maybe it isn't, who knows. Stick it on Ebay and let the public decide.

anything is worth what you can get for it, im not sure how often audubon was forged, autubon is no one i ever heard of, all you can do is list it and see what someone is willing to pay, its worth the apprasial if its the real thing, that apprasial form will make the item sell for lots more than non authenticaed items.
