The reason being that some people simply cannot take a joke!!! I make one comment about cokeheads and alcholics running for office and make a little joke out of it and I get blasted via e-mail for being insensitive to people with addictions. Also I was told a "tree-hugging hippie" shouldn't say something like that. What the hell does that mean??? (Aren't hippies INFAMOUS for using drugs??? Am I right, conservatives?)

And who else here is simply fed up with this section???

I lost my last account because of some ****** on here and after what I said to the ****** who e-mailed me, I'll probably lose this one!

Why can we not seem to have an intelligent conversation or make a simple joke??? YAY for Bush!!! He recovered from being an alcoholic and a coke-head!!! Are you happy now??? All I said was that I'd run for President if all I had to do was "blow lines and hit the bottle every night".

Joke. HaHa.

So what gives, folks???

The so-called conservatives have one thing in common. They fear change. They take comfort in the status quo.

When someone like you comes along and pops a provocative question with your candid style, they are forced to give up their coziness. They feel threatened instantly. Their defense mechanisms go into action immediately. Instead of focusing on the content of your question, their judgments take over and they attack your style. Their egos go hay wire. They lash out with this predictable and needless whining about your attitude instead of answering your question with facts and the truth. Ignorance does become a bliss, as it were.

There is an old saying, "A mind is just like a parachute. It works only when its open." I guess the parachute, for these people, is just a decoration piece, never meant to be used.

My answer to these whiners? Screw them if they can't take a joke!

YA is not the place to come for any sort of serious political debate or discussion. There are far too many "it's all the liberals / conservatives fault" types. Most people on here don't have a clue what they are talking about and they just find a website they agree with and take it as fact without any sort of research or looking into the source. But it is a fun place to kill some time and many of the posts sure make for a good joke.

Why do you have your email enabled for Yahoo Answers? You will only get harrased by the opposition no matter which side you are on. The Yahoo Answers format is all the communication I want to have on Yahoo Answers so my other means of communication are not available to fellow Yahoo Q/A members. I would not have the time to enjoy all the mud slang my why if I left it open.

If you get this wrapped around the axle by what internet people say, it's time to take a deep breath, a couple steps away from the keyboard and find a new hobby.

No one on here is worth getting riled up about.

Here Here, people need to relax and stop living with a mile long stick up their latrine chute.

John S> The current President can suck it...it's MY country and the dinkus is supposed to work for me so I will think of him however I want. That being said the office should receive respect and it is sad the current holder has brought shame to it and really we should not be electing people who shame the office as our President.

I agree with Alow, sometimes when people make mistakes and are aware that they screwed up, but don't want anyone else to know they know, then they become sensitive. This political correctness stuff has gone to far and is beginning to afect our first amendment rights, it is like you have to walk on eggshells around every group or they become offended. Come on people toughen up.

I have seen much worse; all of those "Why are the Libs..." are mere derogatory ranting statements, as opposed to the questions under YA's rules of conduct.

You got a raw deal.

Don't get dismayed. This is Yahoo Answers not a G8 summit. Who cares what others have to say about anyones comments or questions. its all in fun the majority of the time.

This is yahoo! This isn't real life. The 1st Amendment means absolutely nothing here. I had my other account deleted because of too many vilation notices! I guess when political or sexual questions are asked, political and sexual answers are considered abusive! My advice is to tone it down a bit and realize that your sarcasm will only backfire on you. And if you try to disagree with me on this, I will report you as abusive! (just kidding)

I lost my account for calling the president a chimp and saying that there is no god. I think its funny cause I used the same name just added an extra letter on my new account. Some loser had the nerve to complain cause he or she couldn't handle the truth.
