Yes. I feel like that every time I go to the doctor. I worry about him saying he can't find the heartbeat or something is wrong with the baby. This is my first baby so of course I worry about everything. Try not to stress yourself out because everything will be fine.

A root canal is not a risky procedure in any sense... just more work for the dentist. Dentist and doctors agree that in a normal pregnancy a root canal is a very safe procedure with as little risk to the baby as getting your routine physical exams! By the way, your tooth doesn't have to hurt yet to need a root canal. You probably have large decay which is close to the nerve but not there yet. This creates a problem with filing because if it is too close to the nerve, the dentist may not be able to get the decay out without reaching the nerve. That is why a root canal is preferable, as it is actually removing the nerve itself and sealing off the tooth making it as good as new.

I was always nervous with my first baby, and there was never a problem. So I was relaxed with my 2nd pregnancy, which we lost unexpectedly at 19 weeks. I am now 22 weeks pregnant with my son and I am nervous all the time!!

I'm 34 weeks and I still get nervous each and everytime I visit my doctor. Grant it, I've had tons of complications during my pregnancy but each time I've been to the doctor my baby has been in excellent condition it's just me they can not get fixed.

I wasn't nervous as much as anxious to hear the heartbeat. If I could hear that hearbeat I knew everything was ok. My induction really rattled my nerves though. My son is 3 years old and doing very well !

YES! I thought I was the only one! I worry that one of my twins will be gone. Or that something will be wrong. I know just how you feel.
