$1400-1800 New...$700-1200 used.... are thinking of purchasing this computer??
This is a gaming computer for sure...so if you just want it as a house comp. you should look for another one, and save money.

From what I can read, 500 dollars at your PC shop. If you are buying the PC, then probably 1300-1400... if it is built by a custom PC company. If it's a Dell, Gateway, or HP, probably 800-1200.

The CPU is in no way shape or form running at 8 ghz, it is actually running at 2.2 ghz per core.

If somehow it is, then the computer cost over 5 grand due to phase change cooling, and even then I doubt the 8 ghz.

Something similar to that is selling at tigerdirect.ca for $419.97 + $249.97 for the monitor so your looking at a total of $669.94 + tax. That's Canadian dollars of course since this is Yahoo! Answers Canada...

I would have to say that's a darn good computer. Something like that may be worth around $1,800 or around that number.
