Everyone makes mistakes, it sucks but you can't, at least where I live own or be in possession of a fire arm for 10 years after being on probation for a felony. Not sure about a misdemeanor. If you love to hunt, this is a hard one to swallow. I have never done time or even been on probation, but know others who like to hunt that have.

It all depends what you were hunting to get you on probation in the first place.

Depends if you were charged with a felony. If so, you cant have guns. Period.
