I have a program that I would like the user to install upon arriving at my site. How can I programmatically get the little bar to pop up to prompt the user to install my code?

anyone with some actual advice? there are certain instances where nothing except ActiveX will do the job desired, if users want to use my site they will download the program, and its their liability not mine(terms and conditions), that is the nature of software....or else no program anywhere would have ever been installed.

wow anyone with some common sense would not download anything off a web site what so ever, and you are making yourself liable if it sould mess up their computer.... drop the Idea
