Sorry, but all I keep hearing is Yankees fan say remember the past, remember the past, LIVE IN THE NOW! This isnt the past, this is the now. The Yankees will not pass the Red Sox this year, the Yankees are a good team but they have holes and I see no reason to think they a consistent team, this sis their first winning streak of the year, lets see them keep winning against good teams instead of a streak against the White Sox and Pirates both sub .500 teams. The Red Sox are a strong team, they have showed no signs of letting up, there pitching is strong, their bullpen is strong. As for the Yankees fan that said Ortiz or Manny will be injured soon, you are basically saying the only way teh Yankees can catch the Red Sox would be due to an inury, not a good point for your team and what if your team suffers a major injury like A-Rod? The Yankees have not yet proven they are even a consistent team, there are a ton of questions, can their bats keep it up? Will their pitching hold up? Will Clemens be worth it, he has already been injured once and has only pitched an average game against a bad team. Will the bullpen go back to blowing games? How bad will Mussina be? Can Wang become more consistent?

I think the Yankees have an excellent chance at winning the Wild Card but as for the division, i think that is going to be a lot tougher then Yankees fans want to believe and it certainly will not go down in July. The Red Sox and Yankees are both winning games, the Yankees cant make up ground if the Red Sox are winning as well, the Yankees are on a streak but the Sox have not shown any signs of a losing streak.

It is too late now, the Red Sox's will keep winning and keep at the top of the division. Yeah the Yank's are winning right now, but the Red Sox's have showed these last few years that they can keep up with the Yankees and they will this year. So there is now chance the Yankees will catch the Red Sox's! I'll bet the Yankees will have one or two more hitting droughts and that's when the negative comments and worries will come back, just watch!!!
