"Unless the plastic is specially designed to decompose in the soil, such
materials can last a very long time because the chemical bonds that hold
the molecules together are often stronger than nature's power to take
them apart. This means that soil micro-organisms that can easily attack
and decompose things like wood and other formerly living materials
cannot break the various kinds of strong bonds that are common to most
plastics."

Various estimates have been made on the question of how long plastic remains in a landfill before it breaks down. Because it is relatively stable and inert (non-reactive), plastic probably lasts a long, long time. It appears that some forms of plastic break into small pieces over the course of a few hundred years (but they still remain chemically plastic). Depending on the formulation, the actual breakdown into different compounds may take several thousand years. That is why some people say plastic lasts forever. Some new forms of plastic, used to make garbage bags and compost bags, break down more quickly.

Most plastic is non biodegradable, which means it cannot be broken down by the microorganisms in the soil. Scientists have however come up with new types of plastics. Some are photodegradable and break down in the presence of light. Others break down in the presence of water.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/2AO3H
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.
