Because their faces are not finished changing. They are not capable of making these decision no matter how mature they think they are. Most teenagers are not happy with the way they look, they are ver self-concious. This is a very awkward time in a persons life, it is like the ugly duckling story (seriously) teenagers go through a phase where they are not very attractive....then lo and behold they turn into lovely swans...they should be taught to love what is on the inside, and that beauty is only skin deep! Hope this helps. Surgery of any kind can be very dangerous.

If they're much under 17 or 18, there's still a possibility that their bodies or faces would change more, and what's the sense of doing it to have to do it again?
For example - a girl having a breast reduction at 15 years old only to hit another growth spurt and be right back where she started from by the time she's 17.

well, the most important reason is probably that your body hasn't finished developing...i look nothing like my teenage self now. why have plastic surgery (cosmetic only) on something that very well might change on its own? also, consider the self-image issues that teens may have...getting cosmetic plastic surgery on something just because you think people will like you better??? not a good idea. hope this helps.

Plastic surgery should be reserved for medical reasons, not used for vanity.

Because you don't stop growing untill like your mid 20's. You mind still grows untill 28 yrs old. so it's like when a 13 yr has a baby, her body isn't ready

i saw two16 yrs old teenager having two extremely fake looking big boos. ?!.. it just so wrong for me :(
