It is obvious we don't know what's at our back! And, to better comprehend what is in front, we need to have a good look at what is at the back! By the way, the background check thing gets momentum especially in the election year when suddenly all old wounds come to life again like Resurrection!

It depends on who is ordering the background check. If its an employer, they want to weed out the poor employee. If its the FBI, they want to see if there is a criminal history. Finally, if its for immigration purposes, its all for show. The government wants you to think they are solving the immigration problem, but don't believe it. The Democrats want the votes of the illegals and the Republicans want the cheap labor. Its that simple.

To make sure you are legal and have not been convicted of a serious crime. You do not want a person who was convicted for robbery to be a cashier or a registered sex offender to be a daycare giver.

make sure a person really is who he claims to be, that there are no security risks (i.e., poor credit or financial history that makes an individual susceptible to bribes), and that no serious crimes have been committed.
