Run both of these on-line scans. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install your current protections before using these.

1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with BitDefender's Online Scanner
http://www.bitdefender.com/

2. Scan for trojans, adware, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.
http://www.ewido.net/en/

These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up an infected computer.

Good luck.

ok for the website: you have to figure out what program the site is coming from it is hard to explain, but the site is coming from one of the programs on your taskbar at the bottom. you have to look around in the different program's options to turn off the website pop up this can be found by right clicking some of the icons

(Its hard to explain im sorry)

but, getting rid of the highlighted icons is ez ill break it down step by step

1. go to the control panel (in the start menu)
2. open the icon called "system"
3. there is a tab at the top called visual click that
4. click "custom"
5. then check the box that says "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" it should be the second to last box.
6 thats it! (note the more boxes that r checked the slower your computer will start up)

You have Spyware. Spyware is different than viruses and mainly targets your browser namely I.E. To complement your anti-virus, check out http://www.paretologic.com/xoftspy/se/newlp/xray/?uid=i1vbe

You may also want to install a better browser. I'd recommend Firefox.
