Abortion? DO you believe it is the thing to do?

Do you guys believe in it or not??

My opinion is that you should think b4 you act. If your putting yourself at a risk of getting pregnet, and you do, you just going to have to deal with it.

In my eyes children are the best thing God can give us, besides the holy spirit.

Personally~ NO!! To me abortion is wrong and I would Never ever have one... do I look down upon women who do have them..no depending on the circumstance ofcourse

I am in Canada...here there are NO laws governing abortion, meaning a women can have one right up to the opint her baby is due to be born. I have a huge problem with that...because to me..7 or 8 months along in pregnancy...THAT IS A BABY and can survive on its own without mother... I do look down upon those women and the doctors.. It makes me ashamed of my country.

As for early abortions and the debate of rights and who has the right to choose etc.. etc... its a big debate that probably won't ever end, but in answer to your question... No I don't believe in abortion at any stage because to me its a baby, a wonderful gift from god...also abortion has terrible effects on the women as well...medical and psychological

I personally feel that abortion is terrible, an offense both against God and the child (& to me), because The Lord loves little children. I agree people should think before they act, especially if they're just being careless adults -or are proud of it in an evil way, and make the same mistake over and over, not learning, and going on to have an abortion in their lunch hour like it aint no thing. I don't judge those who've already had one or felt they had no options in really bad situations. Abortion is obviously not something to feel comfortable about doing, it's the ending of a human life - no doubt thats why three women who don't even know me well, have told me straight out of the blue that they've had a termination in the past, instead of keeping it to themselves. That means they know abortion isn't right. I mean, why suddenly divulge such a thing like having had an abortion, when we're not even talking about sex?! They're in a club of their own and no I can't possibly know what thats like, and frankly would rather not know. I'll admit that I wish some women had never told me, because Iits hard to look at them in the same way again. It sort of grates on my mind in an annoying way. The abortion question is in a lot of methods break free the heaven v hell question. Abortion is erroneous because that's homicide of the most possibility free of human beings. this isn't my opinion, medical technology has lengthy considering that shown how early in being pregnant a heart beats, nerves are in position, and individuality is major (by the way....those are all before the mummy to be misses her first era). Innocence is why those toddlers are immediately contained in the palms of a merciful and saddened God.

This is always a very sore topic to talk about because everyone can be right in so many different ways. Here's my take.

The only time I find that it would be okay to have an abortion would be if you were raped, or by some chance you find out that the baby isn't going to be okay.
Other then that, if you get pregnant because of your own carelessness, then I think you shouldn't get an abortion. If you do screw up and you don't think that you can take care of the baby then I think you should give it up for adoption.
You have three different ways to go, and some people will agree and disagree with what you do. I think that you should just follow what you think, because it is that mothers decision to make. Not the General Publics.

I agree with you that people should think before they act. It seems that people don't think about the consequences and then when they end up pregnant, they are surprised. I don't think that abortion should be used as birth control. I do think it should be available for the victims of rape or incest or if the mother's life is at risk but that's it. I think it's terrible that many young girls and women have had several abortions because they didn't take precautions to prevent pregnancy. I agree that children are a gift from God and shouldn't be aborted unless there are unusual circumstances.

I would never do it, but why should I make decisions for others?

I do believe that policies should be put in place for people that get more than one abortion. I have known someone that has had more than one abortion for the wrong reasons (Gotten pregnant on purpose before married, changed her mind, aborted baby, didnt tell hubby until she was pregnant again and doc brought it up. Wanted a baby, tricked their hubby, changed her mind and had an abortion)
People like that should be stopped, but every situation is different.
Should all people over the age of 55 have their drivers license revoked?

I believe that abortions are really wrong the only time that i think they are right is if having the baby will put you in danger or if you have been raped and have gotten pregnant from that. There is no way you can sit there for 9 months knowing that the baby inside of you is from a man that hurt you so much. But, if you were just careless you should have to deal with your consequences. And for the people that find this question offending DON'T READ IT!!!!!!

Things happen, people make mistakes. But you also have to live with the outcome. Abortion should only be used for an EMERGENCY situation. What that may be...who knows until it pops up. It's not a form of birth control. And if you are not responsible enough to have sex and deal with the possibilities of what MAY happen, you just shouldn't be doing it. It's just purely EVIL to choose to kill another being, especially your own blood. I will NEVER be able to understand how someone can do it, but hopefully they learn from it, either way.
Plus....it's REALLY dangerous!!!

I've seen this question a lot, and I've never seen anyone say that abortion is the *right* thing to do- not pro-choicers, not even the women who've had them. People don't support and/or have abortions because they think it's right- they do it because they don't see the alternatives.

I don't believe in it at all. A lot of people say they believe in it if the person was raped or if its a teen that can't take care of the kid. I believe that all things happen for a reason and If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it!!!!!!! I was on birth control, living with my mom no car, no job. My boyfriend had a car but no job, and was living with his dad. We were not ready for a child. We were blessed with good jobs, a nice home, 3 cars, and a wonderful 3 year old son.
