It most certainly is.

All of us at the Possum Advisory Board have worked long and hard to promote the advantages of a marsupial diet.

Not only does the possum have a delectable pink look, attractive to all genders, but is readily available in most of the North American states.

Free of charge too!

Why, just imagine the pleasure you can have driving home, swerving a bit to the shoulder of the road, and being the proud provider of a tenderized, fresh 7 pounds of meat for your family.

Imagine the glee in their faces, as you proudly hold your road bounty by the tail, as they anticipate a nutritious and inexpensive feast.

And think of your mates eager desire to wet his lips on your pink meat. "Ummm.....Possum!" He will exclaim!!

Think of Norman Rockwell.

For most of America, possums are road kill, however, in the South, possums are a real treat.

If you are lucky enuf to trap a mother possum with a full brood clasping to her furry back, then you have a file smorgusborg on your hands.

I think the main reason for the general dislike of the possum is that they look really, really bad laying there dead in the middle of the road and that's the only place people tend to see them. That and if you do see them alive, they're still pretty ugly. I think folks have forgotten that they are actually used for grub!

I was going to say Chimpmunk is but you have to eat like 6 of them to get a decent meal, so Possum wins by default.
