Home made pizza. Either "margherita" style (red sauce, white mozzerella, green basil leaves... the original pizza, from the colors of the Italian flag) or sausage and onions.
I ran pizzerias 20 years ago and still practice spinning out dough once in a while.
Can't stand Pizza Hut, and California Pizza Kitchen just isn't pizza. The only chain I've had recently that has been consistent has been Domino's. They aren't bad, and the price is right. Best yet, no added on delivery charge like Papa John's and Pizza Hut (and they're at my door in 20 minutes max).

There are a slew of little known pizzerias and Italian restaurants that are unquestionably the best. When I was 15, I went with some family friends to a place while visiting Chicago that had the absolute best I had ever had. This was YEARS ago and I still can remember it and had none better since or before. I only wish I could remember the name of the place.
Well, there always is Pizza Hut. The only pizza that's good when it's cold as well as hot. Try Papa John's cold the next day and it's like eating candle wax.

Oooh..that's a good one. When I am in IN I love Top Hat 2/Pizza King pizza (same comp, same pizza, different names). However there is a new place in KS called Wheat State pizza...delish. Also...Minsky's pizza..awesome...so many different kinds...the cordon bleu is my favorite there!
