Christians don't because the bible does not tell them to.
Acts 15:24: "... we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, 'You must be circumcised and keep the law' -- to whom we gave no such commandment ..."
Gal. 5:6: "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love."
Gal. 6:15: "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation."
Galatians 5:2 forbids it, saying "Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing."
There are many bad side effects to it as well.
The foreskin keeps the glans soft and moist and protects it from trauma and injury. Without this protection, the glans becomes dry, calloused, and desensitized from exposure and chafing.
Specialized nerve endings in the foreskin enhance sexual pleasure.
The foreskin may have functions not yet recognized or understood.
"Circumcision removes the most sensitive parts of the penis and decreases the fine-touch pressure sensitivity of glans penis. The most sensitive regions in the uncircumcised penis are those parts ablated by circumcision. When compared to the most sensitive area of the circumcised penis, several locations on the uncircumcised penis that are missing from the circumcised penis were significantly more sensitive." Circumcision removes as much as 75% of sensation [ http://www.nocirc.org/touch-test/bju_6685.pdf ].
The foreskin reduces the force required by the penis to enter the vagina. It also increases the sexual enjoyment of the female partner. Here is a study to back this up: http://www.cirp.org/library/anatomy/ohara/
Performing circumcision on a child can and does result in the deaths of children due to blood loss and/or failure of the immune system.
It can and does result in very significant scaring.
It can and does result in sexual problems later in life.
Circumcised males have a much higher rate of sexual dysfunction. [ http://www.cirp.org/library/sex_function/ ]

If you were to read The Gospel of Thomas which was omitted by the Catholic Church from The Bible you will find something on this. Jesus was asked "What of circumcision, should we do it?". Jesus replied "If your father wanted you that way you would have been born that way". Jesus was most likely cut due to old Jewish tradition. Remeber their were not Christians in those days. Seeing as how you have to have Christ to be Christian. Noting that, Christians for most of the world have moved beyond stupid inhumane practices of circumcision (except the U.S.). With a new life comes a new belief.

that's inhumane, Muslim. to call genitals a vestigial organ while they have a purpose. apart from, why could beautiful God be greater significant than the psychological and actual wellbeing of the youngster? in case you relatively have faith enjoying this stupid pastime of fact and dare of what you think of a fictional god says then you definately are putting your self and others up for all times. the real reason human beings ares so desperate for evil rites of passages is through fact those exact same human beings have a identification character sickness and desires to grow to be a conformist and yet can not settle for the certainty around them. This genital violent prepare is lots over an Atheist's head and radical Muslims might desire to heavily have their head examination and locked faraway from society in a criminally insane physiatric ward to evade inflicting injury to different individuals.

He didn't "get himself circumcised" his parents and the rest of the jews did it to him. They do this so they can have a catered event.
Most Christians (world-wide) and even some Jews and Muslims DO NOT mutilate their children. This trend is growing as more and more parents are educated about the dangers of complications from this unnecessary surgery and the fallacy of the benefits claimed for it.

Because Jesus said circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing.
what really matters is what's in your heart and your love of God.
kind of how Jesus said that it is not what goes into a man's mouth that makes him unclean (food, as in the old testament) but what comes out of his mouth (words, and therefore his thought and true intent)
Jesus was trying to teach that love for God is what matters. You cannot buy your way to heaven with actions. Only through faith in Jesus.

There are both benefits and risks associated with circumcision too:
Circumcision may have health benefits, including:
* Easier hygiene. Circumcision makes it easy to wash the penis — although it's simple to clean an uncircumcised penis, too.
* Decreased risk of urinary tract infections. The risk of urinary tract infections in the first year is low, but these infections may be up to 10 times as common in uncircumcised baby boys. Severe infections early in life can lead to kidney problems later on.
* Prevention of penile problems. Occasionally, the foreskin on an uncircumcised penis may narrow so much that it's difficult or impossible to retract. This can also lead to inflammation of the head of the penis.
* Decreased risk of penile cancer. Although cancer of the penis is very rare, it's less common in circumcised men.
* Decreased risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Safe sexual practices remain essential, but circumcised men may have a slightly lower risk of certain sexually transmitted diseases — including HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, and human papillomavirus (HPV), which causes genital warts. Some strains of HPV also cause cervical cancer.
The drawbacks
Circumcision also has drawbacks, including:
* Surgical risks. Excessive bleeding and infection are uncommon, but possible. The foreskin may be cut too short or too long or fail to heal properly. If the remaining foreskin reattaches to the end of the penis, minor surgery may be needed to correct it.
* Pain. Circumcision hurts. Local anesthesia can block nerve sensations during the procedure.
* Permanence. After the procedure, it may be impossible to re-create the appearance of an uncircumcised penis.
* Expense. Some insurance companies don't cover the cost of circumcision.

The drawbacks that weren't mention are loss of pleasure and increase in masturbation difficulty.

In addition, the new testament is pretty harsh with circumcision... and the Catholic church even condemned the procedure.
