I love the sound of locusts in the summertime. I like the sound of rain on a tin roof... I like the sound of a river running... Thunderstorms are great to sleep to.

The locust has to be my fav. though. It reminds me of my childhood, i used to hear them all the time in the trees... and it always reminds me of running around my neighborhood trying to catch lightning bugs.

I don't think it is the sound themselves... but the memories I associate with them.

I think my top choice is 4c, the sound of water in a gentle stream. I do like the sound of a rain shower as well, especially when I am indoors (but not against a tin roof.)

I always sleep well at the beach and find the sound of ocean waves very soothing.

I like the sounds of crocuses and katydids on a summer night.

The sound of silence.

I thoroughly enjoy a cool, calm day sitting on a hillside. No breeze, no animals making noises, no human noises either. Laying back an looking at the sky in peaceful silence.
