Othello is a general. Iago and Cassius are his seconds in comand. Othello promotes Cassius and Iago gets angry and plots revenge. Iago makes Othello believe that Desdemona (Othello's wife) has been cheating on him with Cassuis. Othello kills Desdemona (who lies down and lets him because she is SUCH an obedient wife) because he believes Iago's lies rather and everyone else's truth. Othello finds out that Iago had been lying and kills himself in the end as punishment for having murdered Desdemona.

Normally I'd tell you to read it, but it's godawful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

Try watching "O" with Josh Hartnett and Julia Stiles. It is a modern version of the play. Also watch "Renaissance Man" with Danny Devito, they talk about the play and you can get an idea.

Sometimes Wal-Wort and Bookstores have them. I bought a lot of these in school or borrowed from a friend.
