I'd say it's a real possibility. And if it is real, it scares the heck out of me to think what would happen if some "scientists" ever caught it. A wonderful creature that has caught and fired the imagination of hundreds of thousands of people around the world would be dead in a day ..... sort of the "scientific" approach to the goose that laid the golden eggs in that old fairy story.
