Yes.
There are a number of parameters with which one can describe "strength" since you don't say which you are interested in it is hard to be specific. There are tapes with higher tensile strength (the filament reinforced packaging tape for example) tapes with much higher heat resistance ("Teflon", silicone and aluminum) there are industrial tapes with much higher adhesive strength. Also there are various grades of "duct" tape with widely varying properties.

There is a tape that is used in the airline industry that is much stronger than duct tape, it's called speed tape, but I don't think it's available to the public.

3M makes a double-sided sticky tape that's much stronger and lighter than duct tape.
