as well as all the criminals and adult gang members? Do they really believe that these low-lifes are going to turn their guns in. Do they really think they cannot get guns from those who actually possess them legally?
I'm so tired of passing laws with no real plan to enforce them.
All they do is fight, bicker, collect their salary, travel at our expense, and sneak in billions for their own pork barrel spending.

So the problem is laws can't stop criminals, which don't obey the law anyway from doing what they want....you answered your own question.

In Los Angeles a few years back around xmas time they had a program where the kids could turn their guns in and they gave them money for the guns. The program did pretty well.
Of course, I'm sure they didn't turn in all of their guns, but the more illegal non-papered guns they can get off the street and out of the hands of gang bangers the better.

Government would like to take guns away from everybody. They're just practicing on the gangs, building public support for the next wave of noose-tightening.
