I am a native Canadian, though my skin is white and my ancestors came from Europe. I have no rights in Europe and I cannot go back there. I didn't steal your country and I didn't try to erase your culture.
I know that humans of European origin have done some bad things towards the first nations people of our Country and that saddens me a great deal. I have great respect for the first nations culture and you are not second-class citizens in my mind.
There is racism and descrimination in every country in every corner of the world and while I don't condone it or like it in any way, we can't think of it as our own unique problem.
We are all just human beings trying to share our one planet. I'm not sure what I should be apologizing for...

That great actor, James Garner, once said that he was trying to give up drink because it had the effect of making him want to take his land back! - I don't think there's anything that can be done about racism, which exists in Europe too, despite all the laws and apologies that have been made to various people. It is a question of intelligence: if you are a true citizen of the world, race means nothing to you, but there will always be people who hate others for whatever reason they like to give.

How do you expect the people who stole your land, poisoned your people, killed your people, raped your women, enslaved your people and spit on your people with pitiful compensation to act?
Europeans try to come up with some lame excuses about them being persecuted and having to come here and have no rights in Europe but that was their choice to leave. Did your people have a choice to leave where they lived?
I didn't think so. You should take the power back, or stay defeated. It's a cold world.

Same reason that the American govt. treats immigrants better than citizens...BECAUSE THE GOVT. IS MADE UP OF IDIOTS WHO PANDER FOR VOTES ABOVE WHAT IS RIGHT!
Under the cloak of fairness, our govt...as well as the Canadian govt. tries to pamper those immigrants for votes, etc...at the expense of the citizens. Look at the idiot legislation that the American govt. is trying to pass to let around 12 million criminals have a path to citizenship.
****Yes they are ALL criminals because the first step into this country broke our laws.
