No. its so rare around here to hear kids in highschool listening to rap. It's so much more diverse nowadays I find, than it was even just a few years ago. People like pop, country, metal, rock. While a few years ago most people did only like rap.

Well, when it started back in 79 they said it wouldn't go anywhere. Then when it did, they said it wouldn't last. Then when it did, they said it should be outlawed.
Now, if THAT isn't the "in" thing, then explain to me what is. We've had Presidents and their wives, not to mention Oprah, going after Hip-Hop and Rap. And contrary to what Nas says, "Hip Hop is not dead - it's alive in the ATL".

At some certain areas. But hip-hop dance is definitely "in". You will not hear any techno at clubs. But rap lyrics seem to be getting more & more violent, degrading.
