of course! I don't think it's limited to Americans though. We live in a commercial world. there is no leisure time unless you plan for months for a weekend of it. we go go go go and keep going. we live off fast food *generalizing of course (i hate fast food)* and we work all the day long trying to get better jobs that pay more money which enables us to go faster and then we just have a crappy circle of time that goes to fast. it's all money and greed that runs us. my plan would be to buy a small cabana on a nice island where money is just paper and relaxing is what you do 80% of the time. but that's not going to happen, we're hooked on advertising, deciveing and money.

Au contraire...I believe the general American mentality to be a lazy one. They are complacent (generalization), and have little interest in learning about the world outside their immediate surroundings...
