When I was growing up and first getting into music, it was early Elvis. Yes, I did have one of his very first albums (33) and ended up not keeping it. (Who knew at the time?) The next major group was the Beatles, and I remember all the histerics when they came out. Then the Animals, Rolling Stones, and the rest of the wannabe Brit bands. Also during that time was the original Crosby, Stills and Nash, later to be joined by Neil Young. Then the California bands, like the Eagles, etc. Those were the good ole' days! Neil Young, over the years, has recorded some excellent music, from country influenced (way before country was cool!) as well as some blues and guitar rock that is way before his time. Then I got into Jimmy Buffet (early) and saw him 10 times before he was even well known.
