Your router may have lost it's connection to the Internet even though local communication to your computer is fine. Check the status, possibly release and renew your DHCP address from your Internet Service Provider.

Also try connecting your computer to the router via an old-fashioned CAT5 cable, just to test whether it's something related to the wireless setup.

ok lol it somewhat is ur subject, it has 2 do with how ur on the spot router is related 2 your modem (the two DSL or cable) and to appreciate this you'll prolly prefer 2 do a sprint analyze into subnetting: so right here ur deal in a nutshell when you consider that ur router (which u prolly in basic terms offered and set up) connects 2 your modem, which replaced into related 2 ur laptop at as quickly as, you prolly prefer 2 adjsut teh settings. perhaps have your router take your desktops previous MAC handle, that way ur modem will communicate including your router (Cus ur modem isn't speaking including your router wisely) GL

try plugging into your router with an ethernet cable. if that doesn't work, try restarting your computer. it may be your isp or service through your modem. it might have a good signal to you router, but your modem may be down. you can also try plugging the cable directly into the modem and bypassing the router to make sure. good luck!

is your router connected to a modem? you just see the routers signal to your wireless connection, you don't see the routers connection to the net.
you have to log into the router as administrator to do that.
