Why what's happening?

Most stuff from ouija and other spirit filled forces can be removed by cleaning your house. Sprinkle with salt water and use sage. Say a prayer of something you believe in asking for help. Tell whatever it is to go away and be firm, and mean it inside yourself. Ring some bells about.

And get rid of the ouija board. Stop inviting forces you dont' know enough about into your house.

A shaman from any ("ancient") culture would be in a position to do exorcisms as well as any other activity involving "spirits" and energies for the benefit of "his/her people"--healing, fertility promotion, hunting magic, protection, rites involving birth, death, etc.

Of course, such work is still done today by "modern day" shamans/magic(k)ians. All humans are capable of becoming such through proper training. It is our "birthright". Of course, some people will have more talent than others--but all can participate :))
