I've got a domain(ex.: www.mydomain.com) and and i want to create a subdomain(www.subdomain.mydomain.com), but when i create it and want to open it says: the requested url was not found what van i do

the domain is family-preuss.com(the site of my family) and under that domain i wanted to create a subdomain named darkspike.family-preuss.com(i project i was working on) but when i open the url it says the requested url not found

Post the actual url

Right I get a directory listing OK so is probably your browsers cache or the DNS entry has not propogated fully

Clear you browsers cache if still not working give it a few hours for the DNS to update

Whether you can do this depends on whoever is managing the DNS records for your Domain (not the Registrar which simply informs the world who manages your DNS records or your Hosting company who only hosts the website).

Some companies give you that capability to create subdomains (usually limited in number) but many don't. If necessary, change to someone who will give you that functionality.

This is just one of many reasons why as an IT Pro I run my own public DNS for my clients and myself... To have unrestricted use and configuration to do whatever I want or need to do without the vagaries of what someone else might permit me to do.

Talk to your host or your registrar, should be a setting in one of their "control panels" that manage your domain.
