Because they made a life long commitment to the first woman they loved.

FYI... Marry Men Lie! Of course... they are going to tell you .. "the mistress" whatever you want to hear for awhile.. until the fun is over for them on their end and they get bored. Then.. they ease the wife back into the picture. NO>>>> He can't love you both. There is such a think as "Guy Talk/Code" you have to read in between the lines. What he "Really" means.. is he loves having sex with you and does not want the sex to end.. so he will tell you what you might want to hear.. that he loves you that will keep you on the side.. of the wife he is cheating on and breaking her heart.. and the kids IF he has any that would all be crushed if they knew. If he wanted to leave his wife.. he would have filed for divorce by now. He won't. BUT.... if you want to help all women in the world and his wife.. find a way to let her know the kind of husband she has. Tell her. Write her a letter.. OR.. better yet get his number at the house and call her and ask her to meet you for coffee. She would most likely divorce him. If he cheated once and on her.. he will do it again with or without your help. She has the right to know. Own it. Step up. Do the right thing here. End it with this loser... bastard.

Committed married men do not fall in love with other women.

Married men who are not happily married and are afraid of dealing with the marital issues will. These men are running away from a problem and are not necessarily interested in leaving their wives.

Married men who see their wives as their property will too. But these men see no reason to leave what they consider to be property.

The problem with the second two types of men is that they will leave the second woman just as easily as they did the first.

Take care,
Troy

It depends on pre-nuptial agreements, maybe. But for some...they see that the woman they married is the one they can always come home to. The one who's going to be there waiting at the doorstep. Some believe in keeping a family together, but can't seem to rid themselves of their insatiable desire for other women, even the one they love. I won't say that it's just that love doesn't conquer all, because it just isn't that helpful an answer. :) Some will also tell you (or might tell you) that most times, there's always that one thing that only the wife can give, which the husband can't seem to let go of.

That's the price you pay for messing with a married man. What makes you think he should leave her and be with you? You were the "other" woman and he knows that if he leaves his wife for the "other woman" he already knows that he might cheat again so will you. He's getting things from his wife that he's not getting from you and vice versa but he cherishes what his wife gives him more than what the "other " woman gives him. He's a dog and so is the "other" woman for messing with a married man. Find a single man then this won't be an issue

Because they don't really love you. Not the way they should. You're a convenience. They can have the best of both worlds. Why would any man want to change a perfect situation? It is only perfect for them though. It is not fair to you, his wife, or any children who might be involved. I feel your pain, very much so, I'm in a similar situation myself. But after 2 years of broken promises, I have finally realized there is no future. It hurts and you won't end it until you are ready. But you will be one day. You are too good to spend your life waiting for a day that will never come. Best of luck to you.

And I promise, time does heal all wounds and there is someone wonderful out there who will treat you the way you deserve!

The answer is "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". If the other woman is giving him what he wants and he is still happy with his wife he has no reason to leave. Also if the other woman puts up with his two timing he is never going to change. And its important to remember if he leaves his wife for another woman, he will most likely leave the other woman for someone else.

Because cheating men think they love both women...

Many of these confused men claim to love their wives....(and they like it that their wives take care of the kids and the house and run errands and such; they care for them in a mixture of "sister-friend-support" way.

But they also feel they love their mistress or fling because they feel "passion " and "lust" for them...The excitement and the thrill of the "forbidden fruit"....

So perhaps that's why they don't leave either the wife or their playmate....They get the best of both worlds. And getting a divorce is long, tiring and expensive....

Simple: Its because of the marriage vow they made to be with her unto death. Some people won't mind getting a divorce if the new woman is much much better for them than the choice they made before they met this new woman, but others will see the new woman as an extra in his life and refuse to leave his Primary woman.

Why would they? They have the perfect situation...someone to cook, clean and take care of the home and they get some lovin' from their "girlfriend". I don't know if I could trust a man who cheats on his wife, tells me that he loves me but refuses to leave his wife. If he loved you then he would leave her....end of story. And while divorce can be financially hard and emotionally difficult, if he loved you then he would leave. It seems like hardly any man ever leaves his wife for the other woman.

BECAUSE THEY ARE MARRIED! They may say they don't love their wives but they do or they would not have married them. If they were to divorce for adultery he's screwed big time! She will take everything including the shirt off his back.
