does anyone know if it's possible to color white lace ivory colored ..? i heard that it might work if you use tea bags...does anyone know if this would work.. thanks

it's for coloring a wedding parasol (umbrella) i bought a white one and then ended up getting an ivory dress

Make a large pot of strong tea. Put it in a basin deep enough to cover the lace. Dip the lace in until it takes the shade you want. Try it with a VERY SMALL sample of the lace first, so you see how it works.

You get a big bucket and fill it with tea bags and cold water. Then you soak it in there for about an hour to thirty minutes.

Yes, it would work, just soak it in tea and keep checking it until it's the color you want.

what do you mean? a SHOE lace?

just buy some ivory colored shoe laces. they're not hard to find.
