An Interview to Be signed at a agency

First of all, be sure it's a legitimate agency. If they ask for any money, walk back out the door. The reason I'm already skeptical is because I don't know of many agencies that are both a modeling agency & a talent agency. It's usually one or the other. Legitimate agents are not allowed to suggest specific photographers, but they may tell you that you need new pictures. The reason is that if they send you to a certain photographer, they could be getting a kickback fee from them and that's unethical.

You need to have a positive personality and feel like you'd be a great person to be around and to work with. You should tell them how you feel. If this is your passion, something you really want and are willing to work hard for then of course they want to hear that. They want to know that you'll be dedicated and continue to study your craft (take classes & workshops). They want to know that they can count on you to be where you're supposed to be and ON TIME. They look bad if you constantly show up late. They want to look at you and see the potential for them to make money. Otherwise it's a waste of their time. Walk in there looking like you're ready for a job.

Good luck!
