No...I always wondered why students came up with these ideas. The brain will work faster and faster and you will become great at whatever you desire if you absorb as much as you can in your desired field and it will never, ever explode (we only use about 15 per cent of our brain anyway. Our brains are not computers, no matter how much your computer teacher tells you.)

Of course it is!! Lets think about this some of the most intelligent people in the history of the world have been deeply troubled or tormented by their gift. What have many of them done? They put a barrel in their mouth and pull the trigger....what happens?
So yes, you can get so smart that your head explodes.

Smart doesn't mean bigger, but mean faster... And believe me electrons and neurotransmiter don't suffer sonic boom when traveling in the brain.
