This is such and easy one, I am suprised how many people out there dont know this. All you need to do is take white vinegar and add it to your rinse cycle instead of fabric softer. It will remove all lint, make your clothes smell nice and they will be fluffy. You can check my best answers if you like but I have told this same thing to so many people who have tried it and said WOW. I cant beleive that it is this simple....

Good Luck

The best things I've used to get lint from any cloth item is scotch tape. I've never used duct tape but I will and I'm certain it will work just as well as scotch tape. Tape a strip of tape and hold the strip at both ends and pop the strip on and off going up and down the item. When the tape gets fuzzy, throw away and get another strip, and repeat until all lint is gone. I will try the vinegar idea as well. Vinegar seems to great product to use in so many situations.

Good Luck everyone!!

I think I would rewash those black pieces of clothing just a few at a time. The washing machine lint filter will catch some of the lint. Then dry just a few at a time to see if the dryer will get rid of more of it. This works well on cottons and cotton blends, but polyesters seem to be permanent collectors of lint. Good luck!

Well first off if its a big problem only wash black with black. If its fuzz balls you can buy a clothes shaver at walmart for a few bucks. If in fact it is lint try duct tape or a CLOTH lint brush NOT a lint tape roller brush .

yeah, a lint brush just doesn't work. tried rewashing again and no luck. I even washed it inside out. Will try the vinegar approach and see if that works. I hate to throw out my 2 black tops, but not going to wear it out with lint all over it.

You can use a rolled up piece of tape over your hand. I use the kind of lint roller that you just have to wet then run it over your clothes. When it gets full, just wet it back down and rub the lint off. When it dries, it's all sticky and clean again.

One thing you may consider doing is to not wash your lights and darks together and especially not wash your clothes and towels together. If you wash your lights and darks together, especially light towels and dark clothes, the lint from the towels or socks or whatever light clothing will show up really well on the dark clothing.

Also it's a good idea to use fabric softener. It helps reduce static, wrinkles, and lint.

OK, on my fleece pieces, I've just done the vinegar in the final washing rinse. It improved things BUT my fleece still has lint. The rollers and the brushes are less than mediocre and the little battery operated razor was mediocre too. I think I'll give up on fleece.

LUCKY,
how much vinegar? I have had some microfiber material fall apart and get all over my whole closet! Doesn't wash out. Small fibers got deep into the threads and wont come out with lint brush either.

throw it out, buy a new one.

Once you have lint it won't ever come out of the black threads.

Next time only wash it with its own color.
