Yes, I don't hear sirens, peoples bad taste in loud music, neighbor's arguing!! city noise in general.
There's pros and cons to everything though, like if I wanna go to the store it's about 12miles away, but I can handle it.

I love the city life. Even though I was born in the country but was raised in the city. I use to love the city life, I lived in New York for many years. Now I am wanting the country life. Country living is better for a peace of mind and health purposes.

Last November my partner and I moved out of the city with a pop. of 2.5 million people into a community of 10,000. On a canal with boats and open spaces. Needless to say the change was dramatic. We have a city about 30 minutes away that is about 30,000 where we can shop. We find the people are far more friendly. Shopping is a breeze without the crowds. Now you need to realize my partner and I are both in our fifties and were fed up with the crowds and traffic congestion in the city. There are no clubs or nightlife to talk about where we are. If you wish a quiet serene life the country is the place to be. Should we wish to go into the "Big" city it is only 1 hr. away.

I love living in the country, and apparently, a lot of city people do also. They are coming from the city, buying up land in our county, and filling up our county, buying up farms and splitting them up for housing. Must be a lot of people out here, who loves country living too. But it is so much cooler in the country, we have not had to use our A/C yet. We have a breeze blowing through the house most of the time. I hope I never have to live in the city.

I've never actually lived in a city, town yes but now I'm sort of in the grey area between suburbs and country - I like it here and would definately move further out if I got the chance.

Nah. I'm more of a city girl. I like to walk, and living in the middle of nowhere like I do, you have to drive to get anywhere...
