Why is it considered arrogant and conceited when a pretty-looking woman says "Yes, I'm pretty" ....but not when an ugly-looking woman says "Yes, I'm ugly" ???

A reference to ugly is a negative statement and cannot be considered a positive statement of self. Arrogance is when a woman says "yes. I'm pretty" and she is putting down all others or isn't pretty at all. Most pretty people worth knowing don't have to announce their assets. Many "ugly" people may be more worth knowing because they are not blinded to others by their own image in the mirror. Remember the Snow White tale! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and goes much deeper than self image. Others see you too.

because concieted means full of yourself, most people aren't proud of being ugly and if they are then most people don't want to even listen, not to someone who doesn't have the perspective to look their best amoung other things

i don't think there are any "ugly" people in the world, just people with ugly attitudes just like there are "pretty" people with ugly attitudes too.

thats a good question. for some reason people dont want attractive persons to know they look good. thats rediculous!
