Yes, many people seem to try. It must be some sort of control game they are playing to gain power over you. The fact you know this will be the very thing that will stop them.

Many times, we have these friends a couple and they always play the biggest mind games and can talk a whole lot of crap just to get what they want. Hate people like that. It is like everyone just makes friends with those they can use the most.

I have felt that..... but when I got to know someone better, I just have to go with what my heart tells me and trust that person.
Other people will continue to play mind games because they have no real happiness in their lives and do whatever they can to manipulate someone into being as unhappy as they are - those people I don't allow in my life

Not if your are of sound mind in the first place. It is known that advertisements, politicians, ministers etc, can manipulate peoples thoughts through words, colours or images. If you allow them to distract your thoughts through conventional methods, then you are weak minded. if by chance you are trapped by the need to seek wisdom then your thought processes can be manipulated. If your intellect holds you back, do not search for educational supplements to improve your needs by people clever enough to be deemed to know the truth.
