No, it just makes life easier for them if they have to prove it if you contest.

Yes, a ticket can legally be placed under your windshield wiper. Warrants are needed to search your car and property. Putting a ticket under your windshield wiper is not a vehicle search. Since your ticket was received from a campus cop, you may find the charge on your student account. You may be able to appeal it with the univeristy. That's how it worked when I was in college. Parking tickets do not put points on you license and do not demand court dates. The last parking ticket I received didn't have the correct license number on it so I didn't pay it. Incorrect information can invalidate a citation. But the ticket does not need a signature to be valid.

Mo--navy sailor girl is correct here. When people are taught to drive, they are also taught...as part of that learning...the rules, laws and regulation's of the highway code. If certain people do not want to abide by the rules of the road--and indeed persistently disregard them at will it seems sometimes, then it has nothing to do with the 'chicken sh*t little nobody's' you call traffic wardens then does it? There would not BE any need for traffic wardens if we all followed the rules of the road now, would there? It must rank as perhaps thee most hated job in Britain--but there is surely a need for it given that some people are ignorant of the rules in that little blue book called the highway code!

HA! You wish. I found the best way to get out of a parking ticket is to put it on the car next to mine and hope they pay it. It warks about 50% of the time.

I have not heard of that myself but I think they all got picked on at school and are in need of a good kick in now and again to put them back in line

No. If you parked illegally and they site you for the offense that is all they need. Don't park illegally and you won't have to waste your money and time worrying about these things.
