Whats the latest, do we know if there is water or ice on the moon at this time.

There is some provacative evidence of small amounts of ice hidden in the shadows of craters near the south pole of the moon. Further studies (i.e. space probes, and landers) will have to be launched to confirm the initial evidence.

It is unlikely that the moon contains water

Samples of rocks collected have so far yielded no water.
There is no atmosphere on the moon, hence it is exposed to extremes of temperature depending on which side is exposed to the sun

Any liquid water would be vaporised off the moon by now, unless there is a region of the moon which is in total darkness all the time at which the water exists as ice but this is also unlikely.

as far as we known there in none on the surface but there is probably the necessary element to make water

yes there may be ice in poles & inside caves
