A good solicitor will be around £500. They will also have to cross charge you for things like searches, land registry etc which will be another few hundred. Also, don;t forget stamp duty which is a killer!

I agree - £300.
Ask for a fixed quotation first and makes sure the figure includes everything such as Searches, Bank Telegraphic Transfer Fees, copies, disbursements, VAT.

Usually depends on purchase price (and whether property is leasehold which costs more) but allow £500 to cover fees VAT & disbursements. They may ask for about £200 upfront. Always get full quote first. Good luck ...
