This is great, obviously some people who answered this Q, lack the knowledge of sarcasm or brainwave activity for this matter. "For you Plain folk out there he is saying nascar is boring and for idiots" and if you like NASCAR i have a sport for you it's called watching paint dry with only 2 colors so every one can keep up. once again "Sarcasm look it up" in a special thing called a dictionary. and then go kiss your sister.

Oh grand liberal thinker that you are and avid sports fan who can keep up with all of the players on a team answer this: Without going to the Internet give me the rosters of the entire Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Well? We're waiting?
What's with the bomb throwing? Do you have a problem with NASCAR or Conservatives? There are liberals who watch NASCAR. Do you have problems with them as well?

Yeah, NASCAR is a perfect sport for conservatives, because...
1. It illustrates the value of individual competition, rather than a team...somewhat like a running competition...and very much based on the principles America was founded upon.
2. It illustrates strategic thinking...you don't just go around and around...you have to calculate fuel consumption, track conditions, drafting, knowing your car and what it can take, knowing how to squeeze through a tangle of cars without getting killed...when to pit and when to try to hang on for another lap...in other words it's a brain activity as well...not just a bunch of dumb jocks charging down a field with a ball.
3. It also illustrates a sport that can still be a family event. You don't have NASCAR drivers getting arrested every time you turn around for rape, drugs, and other crimes. NASCAR drivers still appreciate their fans. They don't resent them like most "stars" of other sports.
So, yeah, if you want to say it is a conservative sport, I can accept that label proudly.

i do no longer see how they could. it may look like it may decrease out sponsor money. i think of extremely of reducing communities they should divide the race into 2 heats on the smaller tracks. That way working example at places like Bristol (small tracks) or any music the place drivers bypass down a lap early and not in any respect recuperate then they are able to have 60 communities enter a race and function 30 drivers according to warmth with an removal for the marvelous third around. that ought to help do away with lap site visitors, supply communities a destroy between heats to debate vehicle setups and ameliorations and will advance opposition. on the better tracks like Daytona and Talladega they could advance the style of vehicles on the music and it does not injury something. that could additionally help do away with the desirable 35 rule.

actually a study was done here in Boston several years ago re: the IQ of sports' audiences; Baseball fans were among the most erudite! Nascar is a Southern sport catering to the most liberal of sports' fans. You figure it out!

What an utterly stupid question!!! What the hell does NASCAR and politics have to do with a conservatives decision making regarding politics? I'm conservative, yet I hate NASCAR and motor sports! Football and MMA are the sports I watch most, so much for your stupid generalization!

I would think keeping track of 50 cars would be more difficult than watching:
10-13 players on the field in a baseball game
22 players on the field for football
12 (at most) during a hockey game
10 during a basketball game
2 during a tennis match
I don't watch NASCAR partially because I can't keep track of all the cars and drivers, plus I do find it boring.

It is each man for himself in NASCAR. There are not teams of cars. It demonstrates a sense of personal responsibility and initiative.
