Definately read the Artemis Fowl books.
Age isn't a question - don't worry about that.
But downloading is a big no-no! Even if you COULD find it for free online it is completely unethical. You're getting several hours of enjoyment out of reading a book - is a dollar or two an hour really too much to spend??? There are plenty of places you can pay to download them online or if you don't want to pay full-price in a bookstore, go to a used bookstore and buy it for half-price. It is a very popular series - it should be easy to find there, or like others suggested, just go to your local library - you can always reserve the book if it isn't currently in stock there. Just don't STEAL it!!

I don't see why not, I don't think there is an age limit on what you can and can not read. The Artemis Fowl series is popular enough so if you live anywhere near a library you should be able to borrow them for free.

Of course you should read it,I recommend it.I'm fifteen, and it's like a modernised Harry Potter, except Artemis dosen't win by fluke. The rest of the books are The Arctic Incident,The Eternity Code,The Opal Deception,The Lost Colony, and the last one would be released like this year or next year.
I suggest you buy the books.Reading at a long length at the computer screen would give you myopia, lol.

You can read any book you want when you want.
These books are not available for free on the internet because they are still under copyright. If you like these books, you should avoid illegal copies. When a book is pirated and offered for free, the author does not get paid. If it happens enough times, the author is forced to quit writing and get a day job. That's usually the death of an author's career since it's nearly impossible to find time to write when working full time--and why should he write when he makes more money working?
If you support a writer, buy his books. If you have to have free copies, I suggest you get them from the library.

I read them all in a fairly short time a year or three ago. I'm 60, and I don't see why your age matters--unless you're easily embarrassed by even younger people enjoying the same books you are. (C.S. Lewis dedicated one of his fantasies to a friend who was by then too old to enjoy it--in HER estimation!--and hoped she would eventually grow old ENOUGH to read it.)
And as already suggested by another, the library is your free, easy, and *ethical* site to "download" the series from.

Yes, if you like the book! I read children's books all the time, and alot of them are really good! I have read Artemis Fowl, and I liked it, especially the character development. They were really interesting, and the humor employed was great!! Read it!
