i am probably going to get a 1.9 GPA this semester and i am planning to go to chico next year. they say you must maintain at least 2.3. will i be revoked because of this. can i take courses at a community college to raise my gpa enough? thanks

Mu hubby is a professor on the appeals committee and they just dealt with this. Chances are you will be expelled but if you appeal, they may let you come back in after a year at community college. They don't have to let you back in, though. If your GPA was low for more than one year, they probably won't.

They may put you on academic probation. Check with you school regarding the community college. Most of the times the grades wont transfer so that they will increase you gpa. It will just show the college that you are currently with that you have put in the effort and are willing to correct your mistakes.
