Yep...my Mom is a boomer and she even thinks they stink.
It's funny how the "greatest generation" created the worst...not sure how that happend aside from after WWII the kids were spoiled rotten with the economy boom and they were instilled with a sense of entitlement.

Each generation has it's own problems, don't you think? It seems to me that the baby boomers have created opportunities for the next generation, not the opposite. If the next generation are "dumbed down" as you say, who's fault is that? There are far too many of ALL ages in our society relying on victimhood and the blame game rather than standing up and doing what's necessary to make their own life better. It's a huge problem in this country.

Actually, I'm 33 years old, and though I would be considered a Generation Xer, I have to say that I actually have a lot of respect and admiration for Baby Boomers. After all, they were the ones who began questioning and rebelling against outdated social norms. Also, they got the ball rolling on social issues, such as women's rights, minority rights, gay rights, the environment, etc. Not only that, but they have given us many great musicians and music groups, such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, and Aerosmith, just to name a few.

Yes. The boomers youth included plenty of self-indulgence in the form of drugs, free love and radical politics. Once that phase was over, boomers became the greediest generation this country has seen.

No. The problem is not generational. The problem lies in the fact that too many people act as victims and do not take personal responsibility for their own well being. In turn, lib politicians pander for their votes with handouts. Our taxes pay for them. And, Hillary and Rudy are like oil and water.
