I agree, plus, you don't even get to be around to see the people that miss you, and to see the impact you had on the world, so why would you want to kill yourself to find out who loves you when you won't even know. This is a subject that passes through my mind a lot, and obviously by my opinion I'm not suicidal, I just think it's interesting. I think the whole "If I Leave Now I Won't Know Who Cries At My Funeral" thought passes through peoples' minds and that's when they just start threatening or hurting themselves.. although hurting themselves is not always suicidal or looking for attention, and it's not always trying to see who cares and notices you.

Oh, and what happens when the person you want to talk to kind of is like "hm that's weird.. I'm going to go stand over.. here.. now.. " and kind of was no help at all? I'm going to make another question now.

Very selfish, can you imagine having to stand over your child's coffin asking yourself what you did wrong? It brings a lot of pain to surviving family and friends, often even causes divorces. It's also very short-sighted, if I had the guts to end my life when I was 14 I would have because I was very unhappy. But years later I'm very glad I didn't. Situations change.

I agree, it's very selfish. The problem is that people who are at a point of killing themselves are not thinking about everyone else. You have to realize though that they are not thinking much at all. The only thing in there head is dying.

Selfish is a pale way to describe suicide. Think of it like this - yu didn't earn your life it was given to you as a gift. Your life should be cherished - good or bad.

If you are considering suicide, PLEASE talk to someone. Parent, sibling, teacher, friend, anyone.

It takes allot of balls to do something like that. I mean.....you kill yourself and your gone forever. It takes some serious guts.....I could never do it........I live my life trying to preserve myself.
