Since Guiliani let his personal life be sinful for 14 years, why should we trust Guiliani to manage problems which are far less urgent to resolve than committing incest?

What difference does it make as long as it wasn't a first cousin?

The choices that you make in politics are never ideal. Almost always the choices are the lesser of evils. If you do not like Guiliani, and you are right to have your reservations, you must apply the same scrutiny to the other candidates. I would urge you to consider what qualities you think are required in a leader of state and whether you think he or the other options have them. Sometimes we must accept a politicians foibles, because he has other qualities that we feel are needed. As far as I am aware Mr. Guiliani has not committed or been prosecuted for any crimes, so I would tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Mind you, I have done that before and regretted it, Mr. Bush being a good example.
Might I ask the rhetorical question, "If you thought George Bush was going to be more interested in the welfare of foreign nationals over his own people, how would you have viewed him?" I suspect that it might have affected your political opinion. Politicians can be relied on to say whatever they think will get them elected and once the power is passed to them, they then pursue their own personal agenda. Perhaps you should ask yourself what is important in a presidential candidate and decide based on that who is the best man for the job. If you decide that his marital situation is important to you and affects his ability to run the country then definately you should not trust him.
I may be cynical, but why would you trust any politician?

No, As mayor of New York, he himself pointed out how few political arguments he had with Bill Clinton. He doesn't believe in the sanctity of life. He doesn't believe the Second Amendment guarantees Americans the right to bear arms. He is on the payroll of the Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia, so even his pronouncements about fighting Islamo-fascism cannot be taken seriously.
His law firm is representing Spanish interests in the Trans-Texas Corridor, K.C. Mexican Port of Entry and the further degrading of US sovereignty....
"......Giuliani's Houston-based law firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, is identified by the Texas Department of Transportation as the sole law firm representing Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., the Spanish investment consortium that has joined with Zachry Construction Company in San Antonio on the TTC project......"

It amazes me with the world we live in today, why people have such an obsession with someone Else's sex life.
I look at it this way. I'm a Bartender, and if I slept with John, Jim, Harry OR for that matter Jill, Jane, Jezebel, the next morning I could "still" remember how to mix a drink.
After all, isn't this really what the question is about?

I hate to break the news to you, but being married to one's cousin doesn't make one "sinful." Numerous states in America allow marriage between cousins. Furthermore, genetics experts say that marriages between such individuals only results in a very small increase in birth defects, about 2 - 3%. Additionally, marriage between cousins is a common event throughout the world. If you can't handle that, that's your problem. By the way, most people in the country won't make their choice for president based upon such petty reasons.

I don't care about his personal life, what I worry about is his constant fear mongering. Democrats are weak on defense... democrats are this... democtrats are that...I hope people don't buy into that...He's taken an FDR quote " the only thing we have to fear is fear itself" and he's running with it. We cannot ever change what happened on 9/11 but the best thing that can happen to this country is to try to return to the 9/10 mentality with a bit of 9/12 wisdom.

I don't. Being the mayor of New York doesn't mean he'll be a force against terrorism like he's claiming.

Moving homeless people off the street=fighting terrorism
I don't think so.

I don't with all of the women out numbering men in our society, there was no reason for Rudy to get with his cousin. I see those morals and values as being very sick and demented.

Why do we let personal lives indicate how a personal behaves professionally.

I can act very differently at home than I do at work. My personal life is no indication of my professional demeanor.

"Since Giuliani let his personal life be sinful for 14 years" blah blah blah.....

Thomas Jefferson screwed his slaves committing adultery.
I guess that would have made him a terrible president as well.

Don't you have something better to do that be a judgmental POS. Judge not else ye be judged.
