"Spiffy" is a very good meaning word, even it sounds "cool" and special, although the word faded out these days, but it could be a new word for new generation. Can't figure it out why not popular ?

Thanks!

One too many syllables...and it sounds a little effete for your self-proclaimed 'thug' -type.

(Think about it: "bad," "cool," "rad," "tight," "phat.." )

Yeah bring back 'spiffy', but what about 'top-hole' or 'ticketty-boo'.

I always thought it was popular - I use it all the time.
