i'm sure how healthy the sex is for pregnancy depends on how good the sex is. if its good sex and you are "satisfied" it can improve well-being, lower stress levels and in general maintain a good healthy relationship between mom and dad. it is really important to lay good foundation for that now since its hard to keep momentum once the baby comes. not to mention that sex is exercise, one of the best...especially with the extra weight. i'm sure it is comforting for the baby because it is being rocked back and forth and also the hormones and chemicals released during sex and affection are likely not too bad either. ;) however, if the sex isn't good then i would say it probably doesn't have all the benefits it should, but its still exercise. just don't feel stressed out about it...it should be stress relieving, not stress inducing.

Unless you doctor advises against it(high risk pregnancy) there is no reason to not still enjoy sex, as long as both parties are comfortable.
My husband and I enjoy other pleasures now that sex has become painful for me.

Yes it is. Unless your doctor tells you not to because of a high-risk pregnancy or other health issue, you can have sex up until you go into labor (or lose your mucus plug).

Yes ma'am. As long as you aren't at risk for pre-term labor you should be fine.
Your doctor will normally determine if you need to refrain from sex later in the pregnancy.

As long as you have a normal pregnancy. have a great time, and no need to worry about using protection! :)
If it hurts, change positions, if it still hurts, stop. That is the general rule.

It's fine in a normal, low-risk pregnancy. If you are at high risk for miscarriage, you may be put on "pelvic rest" and advised not to have intercourse.
