Removing it is the hard part takes a lot of scraping a washing I had it done about 5 years ago cost me 150.00 that was a pu trk. I just paid 180.00 tho have windows tinted To make sure its done right an legal have a tint shop do it The tint can only be so dark an each state is different. I can have all the rear windows ( back doors, quarter glass, rear windshield.) like a limo but both front doors can only cut 25% of the light an a strip on the frt windshield . I found this from tint shop. They put a sticker on the door jam with the ratings of tint used If they dont do it leagle they could lose there license

You mean to bathe it? Windex, or any product that includes ammonia will injury window tint. It turns it milky. Use the two vinegar/water or an alcohol based cleanser. there are various window cleaners on the industry that are secure for window tint, basically seem to confirm that it says so on the label. i like "Invisible Glass" myself.

The only place you can get the answer is at a window tinting business.
Remember, in most states you can't get the back window too dark unless you have dual outside mirrors.

they usually charge around a 115 bucks to do all the ones in a cavalier there's a guy here in town that does it,and that's what he charges for it,so yours wont be much more than that, probably at the most 125 bucks, and make sure when they do this that the put the sticker on with the tent that says its legal, then the next time you get pulled over they cant say anything about it,good luck with it hope this helps.

I would recommend a professional tinting company in your area. Removing old tint can really be tough, and they do it perfectly.

this could be a stick on peel off thing,so check if it is just a film. if it is a spray on,try a small area with paint remover or fingernail polish remover, but dont get it on the plastic or any painted areas or you will ruin it. good luck

You can buy the film yourself and put it on with soapy water, a spray bottle, a squeegee and a single edge razor blade.
