As bad as that may sound, the answer could only be yes.....
Do I think that all journalists intentionally project personal bias
I really don't think so...They're just like people on Q&A have their own personal opinions and will like it or not be projected in their reporting......Do I think that some journalist intentionally
use personal feelings and opinions for a means to their own
causes and pet peeves. YOU BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR
I do.........

The best ones avoid it, but I think it is impossible not to inject some kind of bias in a story simply because of being human. It might be very difficult to remain neutral about the topic if its something extremely unpleasant, like a child murderer. If the reporter says "this is my opinion" then its an editorial. I've also seen how some news organizations slant the opinion by cleverly wording the questions and controlling what topics are discussed (i.e., Fox News) - that isn't journalism, that's editorialism - which is why I rarely watch Fox News anymore, however other news organizations have done the same thing. I now take all media news sources with a "grain of salt".

Of course journalists vote.

Do they use their careers to promote their personal biases? I don't see how they can't.

Despite what they (or anyone else says), nobody can be objective. Unfortunately, journalists always have a captive audience available - just like Hollywood and politicians.

That's why I always recommend that people do their own investigation of news and politics and NOT base their decisions on one source.

Does it take more time and effort? Of course - but you're better informed and can make better decisions that way.

Eric Alterman has said that journalists have a bias towards laziness, and I think he's right. It's hard to track down leads, to identify problems in the official account, to develop sources who don't already want to talk. It's much easier to be spoonfed stories by "political insiders" and "key aides" and "unnamed sources". As a result, the press tends to be biased towards whoever works them the most skillfully.

I'm sure journalists vote. Journalism has always been plagued by bias. When yellow journalism was challeneged in the 1800s the op-ed piece was born. Our problem now, is the line between news and opinion pieces have again been blurred.

i do no longer attempt...I do exactly...Im in basic terms flat out independent whilst it includes balloting for gamers for the All-Stars activity. regrettably the pollcomes out biased, so which you are able to make the suited determination in step with those given. we can argue all day long approximately it, yet some gamers do no longer should be on the poll, yet get there by their "call" on my own. as properly the steroids removal from baseball, I additionally contend that there desires to be extra valuable concept tactics placed into the ballots. I hate gazing gamers getting snubbed out of an "possibility of a life-time" activity, using fact somebody "undeservingly" replaced into on the poll. it may be much extra elegant if the participant on the pollwho replaced into unfit could do away with themselves from rivalry in the event that they experience that they do no longer look to be the suited participant to symbolize that place. no longer in straightforward terms is that this classification, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it exhibits admire for the activity, and for people who extremely must be there on the All-famous individual activity. So the pollcomes out biased, and a few electorate are strictly biased, as a result gamers get voted in for all the incorrect motives. actually, i do no longer care who you're or what group you symbolize, once you are the suited candidate for the placement, you will get my vote. Absolutely no doubt about that. When you consider that eighty percent of the media big shots are voting democrats, how do you expect to hear or see anything other than what you are?
